Best of...

So i picked some of my favourite outfits that were used by sequins, lace and silk.
This first one is extremely beautiful..kind of looks vampire-ish with the long tuxedo and the red long skirt. It is so beautiful with the lace underneath the tuxedo vest.
This skirt is so chic and modern. It has a short top layer on top of the long split skirt.
This Missoni look is so modern with the most beautiful python jacket, the colours of and how the mixture of the silk and the top is done in a very good way.
This Missoni look is similar to the first one...but with different colours and without the jacket. Still extremely chic and simple.
This Erdem skirt is so beautifully done with the dark colours of the sequins and the pattern is so breathtaking. The combination of the top and the gloves is so modern.
This one is from The Row and it is a classic lace dress, very much seen on Kate Middleton.
This is one of the favourite ones from Marc Jacobs. The colour and the details of the dress and the lace is so sexy yet professional at the same time. The gloves also add such a beautiful touch.
This one is also from The Row. There is nothing much about this dress that is unique. But its lose cut with the laced details at the bottom is so chic and gives a laid back look.
This one is so pretty...it seems like the hands are tattooed and not part of the dress.
I love these 70s pants, so simple but its details and simplicity at the bottom is so modern.

This dress is from Antonio Berardi, it is so sexy but in a conservative way. The green touch of the shoes adds such a good young feel to it.
I saved the last for the best. This Lanvin outfit completely blew my mind away.!!! Everything is made out of lace. The pants, the shirt and the coat are all breathtaking together!! GENIUS

Fur fest

Okay since winter is right around the corner, I thought picking out some of my favourite looks of all time...FUR. I picked few items made out of fur and it is used in ways one could never imagine it would be used. Beautiful pieces picked from net-a-porter website for this latest season.
Stars... very Dolce $ Gabbana style...so pretty and childish yet sophisticated.
The boots are so simple and classic yet with a twist of added fur inside to warm the feet with style.
This is one of my favourite from Isabe Marant. The different layers of colours is so attractive and simple and warm.
This classic Miu Miu bag that everyone is familiar with is now made out of fur. So chic and cute and styled by season.
This purple coat is pretty interesting its half furred which is an interesting modern look especially with the simplicity of the coat cut.
This fur looks so gorgeous and glamourous, it is close to the one before but in a thicker bolder way.
Another Isabel Marant one I love, it is purely pretty and trendy looking.
These gloves are nothing special but for some reason I fell in love with them. They're red, so a very bold colour, with added fur. Warm and red. Hot!

Mixtures of Textures

So I picked out some of the best designs that used unbelievable textures, from different materials and cloths, and were done in a way that no one could ever imagine would be beautiful on outfits.
Just so to show you a bit of the real fashion world, these pictures are not even a small fraction of what fashion is really all about. Fashion is about art, imagination, mystery, love, and it might sound cheesy, but when looking through these creations you will start to see what fashion is really all about.

So the first three are from Alexander McQueen, and the combination of different materials makes everything seem incredibly fabulous. The leather with chiffon with metals makes it seem so aggressive but super feminine at the same time.

These next two are from Balmain, the material used is like aluminum foil....intensely flashy and "superstar" like. So 40'.

These pants are by far the best pants ever...the material used is like the shiny stuff when u open tin cans from the inside!! Gorgrous

The next few are from Christopher Kane...and by far the most genius..he used the 'gely' thing kids play with...with the transparent thing inside all gooey....he uses that as a dress and a clutch!!! To Die For!!
And he mixes it with leather... with crochets and sequins!!

These last ones are from Givenchy, and just the imagination of wolves in the dark being translated into an entire collection of dresses and outfits is beyond genius!
The mixture of the silk with cotton and leather is so dreamy
 Also added is sequins.....
 Velour as well
Wolves creeping up...Who would have thought it would be sexy?

Ready to Wear- Spring 2010

So another part of my love for fashion is obviously the clothes..and they're art behind them..not just about a good looking clothes.
I have selected the latest runways of this season and chose my best looks that I found were heavenly.

These include my favourite designers. I'll start with Alexander McQueen..always one of the best!! The detailing and the material and the colours chosen are just perfection...so artistic and futuristic. The laces and the sequins and the feathers everything combined together is beyond!
The red contrast with the extremely light blue material...looks more than stunning to me! Its sequins and on a very light material that flows...beautiful! (Antonio Berrardi)
These Balmain pants are so manly but completely feminine at the same time...so chic but beautiful with the detailing and the matching of the boots...Oh the boots how beautiful are they!
This is Chanel...and its transparency and intricate details of the jacket is so beautiful and delicate .
This is Dolce & Gabbana...also the sheerness of it is so elegant and beautiful along with the hard solid sequins of the skirt.
These next two are from The Blonds...they are known to make extravagant corsets that are extremely beautiful and unique...the chinese chopsticks! Who would ever think of doing that?
This is so Barbie style inspired, the thick sequinned corset with the light chiffon pink material makes it so unique and beautiful and dreamy. P.S. Notice the Christian Louboutin shoes :)
Elie Saab is a classic favourite...he is known to make the most elegant parisian woman's wear possible...I love this piece because of its royal blue colour...not any colour is chicer than this...but to be an overall of it..beyond!
Christopher Kane is an English designer whose known to be very creative, and this dress proves that right..the delicacy of the silk light green is so beautiful with the contrast of the thick details of the flowers jewellery.
The last two pieces are by far my favourite ever! These are by the best two English designers called Marchesa, they are known to only create extreme couture for woman. These two literally made my jaw drop when I first saw them... I have no words to describe how beautiful they are
The detailing, the sequins and diamonds and the fabrics, all mixed together creates this princess dreamland gown that exists only in the fantasy world.
This Giambattista Valli dress is so simple, and not over the top but its sheerness from the bottom and the detailing around the shoulders is what makes it so beautiful.

Fashion - Introduction

So this is my first official blog about what interests me. This might sound extremely cheesy and typical, but I die for fashion. I'm not talking about the daily fashion pieces that everyone wears, but the high end designer world, where creation and imagination literally makes up the clothes, shoes, handbags and jewellery. I will begin today by showing you what kind of creations I am talking about.
#1 ULTIMATE favourite is SHOES!
My genius of shoe-world is the one and only (may he rest in peace) Alexander McQueen
I mean look at the creation of this, it's more than high heels, it is pure art, the details of the sculptured heel, and the colour and material is just beyond!
This is another one of my favourites also by McQueen
It's so edgy and tough, but so feminine at the same time-- Genius
Another ultimate favourite is Christian Louboutin
These shoes are literally Cinderella princess shoes come to live. Covered in diamonds, extremely high heels and super colourful, i mean anything sexier than this?
Yes they do come in almost every single colour too...check out the pink ones. (price is $6000 if you were wondering)
Anyway enough drooling on these babies.
On to more classic ones like Giambattista Valli, one of my favourites designers who is so chic but extremely modern with all his creations. These boots are heaven. Just the details and its simplicity is so beautiful.
Last post of my crazy shoe obsession are these Dsquared shoes...if you can call them shoes...Speaking of living in Canada ;) Seriously? How more creative could u get??
